Privacy Policy

1. Overview
s2khub is operated by AutoStockX LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“we,” “us”). This Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and your rights regarding it. By using s2khub you agree to the practices described here.
2. Data We Collect
Data you provide
- Account information: email address, username, password (stored as a bcrypt hash — never in plain text)
- Profile information: display name, bio, location (optional)
- Garage data: vehicle details, photos, maintenance records you choose to add
- Marketplace listings: vehicle descriptions, photos, asking prices
- Community content: forum posts, comments, and direct messages
- Membership application: ownership photos and supporting documentation
- Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers
Data collected automatically
- IP address and approximate location (country/region level)
- Browser type, operating system, and device type
- Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform
- Referrer URL
- AI chat queries and responses (see Section 5 for details)
Analytics & tracking
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand platform usage. These tools may set cookies and collect behavioural data subject to their own privacy policies. You can opt out via your browser's cookie controls or a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To create and maintain your account
- To operate the marketplace, garage, community, and AI features
- To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, saved search alerts, membership decisions)
- To enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To analyse platform usage and improve the product
- To process payments via Stripe
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to serve targeted advertising.
4. Data Sharing
We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: AWS (hosting, storage, email delivery), Stripe (payments), Sentry (error monitoring), Anthropic (AI inference — see Section 5), Voyage AI (search embeddings), Google and Microsoft (analytics). Each is bound by data processing agreements.
- Safety & moderation: Authorised staff may access direct messages and other private content when investigating credible reports of abuse, fraud, or violations of our Community Guidelines.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of AutoStockX LLC or its users.
- Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you at least 30 days before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
5. AI Assistant & Anthropic
When you use the s2khub AI assistant, your queries are transmitted to Anthropic, PBC for processing by the Claude language model. Anthropic may use these queries in accordance with their privacy policy. Do not include sensitive personal information (such as financial data, government IDs, or health information) in AI chat queries.
We retain AI conversation logs on our servers for up to 90 days to enforce usage limits, detect abuse, and improve the assistant. Logs are then deleted or anonymised.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention records, billing history required by tax law).
Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS-only access, and access controls on all infrastructure. However, no system is perfectly secure.
Data breach notification: In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users within 30 days of discovery, in accordance with New Jersey law (NJSA 56:8-163) and other applicable state breach notification requirements.

8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data via your profile settings
- Delete your account and associated personal data
- Opt out of non-essential communications via your notification settings
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@s2khub.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. California Residents (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of their personal information, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To submit a CCPA request, contact privacy@s2khub.com.
10. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (session token) and optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the platform.
11. Children
s2khub is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at privacy@s2khub.com and we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of s2khub after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
