Community Guidelines
Last updated May 1, 2026
s2khub exists because of the S2000 community. These guidelines exist to keep it worth coming back to. They apply everywhere on the platform — forum, marketplace, garage, and direct messages.
The short version
- Be honest. Don't misrepresent cars, parts, or yourself.
- Be respectful. Disagree with ideas, not people.
- Stay on topic. This is an S2000 community.
- Don't spam, self-promote excessively, or game the platform.
- Don't post anything illegal.
1. Authenticity & Honesty
The S2000 community runs on trust. Misrepresenting a car's condition, history, or ownership is a serious violation and will result in permanent removal.
- List only cars and parts you own or are authorised to sell
- Disclose known defects, accident history, and modifications accurately
- Don't create fake accounts or impersonate other members
- Don't manipulate valuation data or listing metrics
- Don't post fabricated specs, dyno numbers, or maintenance records
2. Respect & Conduct
Passionate debate about AP1 vs AP2 is welcome. Personal attacks are not.
- No harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse toward any member
- No threats, doxing, or sharing of private information without consent
- No discriminatory content based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or nationality
- Criticism of builds, opinions, and decisions is fine — attacking people is not
- If a conversation turns hostile, disengage and report it
3. Marketplace Rules
The marketplace is for S2000s, S2000 parts, and S2000-related items only.
- One listing per item — no duplicate or cross-posted listings
- Include clear, accurate photos of the actual item (no stock images for parts)
- State your asking price or clearly mark as “offer”
- Update or remove listings once sold — do not leave stale listings active
- No bait-and-switch pricing between listing and transaction
- No listings for stolen, salvage-titled-as-clean, or cloned vehicles
- Dealers and commercial sellers must identify themselves as such
s2khub is a venue, not a party to transactions. Always meet in a safe location, conduct a pre-purchase inspection, and verify title before any money changes hands.
4. Content Standards
- No sexually explicit, graphic violence, or shock content
- No content that glorifies illegal street racing or reckless driving
- No spam, unsolicited advertising, or excessive self-promotion
- No affiliate links, referral codes, or undisclosed paid promotions
- Photos and videos must be content you own or have rights to share
- Knowledge base submissions must be accurate and cite sources where applicable
5. AI Assistant Use
The AI assistant is here to help with S2000 questions. Don't try to break it.
- Use the assistant for S2000-related questions only
- Don't attempt to bypass rate limits or extract data at scale
- Don't use the assistant to generate spam, fake reviews, or misleading content
- Treat AI responses as a starting point, not gospel — verify critical specs independently
6. Legal Compliance
- No listings or discussion facilitating illegal modifications (e.g., smog-delete on road cars)
- No counterfeit or knock-off parts listed as genuine OEM or branded parts
- No content that infringes copyright or trademark
- No content involving stolen vehicles or parts
7. Enforcement
Violations are handled based on severity and pattern. Actions include content removal, warning, temporary suspension, and permanent ban. We do not operate a strict strike system — serious violations (fraud, threats, doxing) result in immediate permanent removal.
Banned users may not create new accounts. Circumventing a ban is a violation that may be escalated to law enforcement where appropriate.
8. Reporting
If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it. Every listing, post, and profile has a report option. For urgent safety concerns or fraud, email trust@s2khub.com directly.
We review all reports and act on violations, but we cannot guarantee a response to every report. We do not share enforcement details with reporters.
9. Appeals
If you believe your content was removed or your account actioned in error, email trust@s2khub.com with the subject line “Appeal” and a brief explanation. We review appeals once per account and decisions are final.
These guidelines are part of your agreement with s2khub. See also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
